HP Touchpad

As you likely know, the product has already been on a rollercoaster ride. It just launched this summer and was quickly discontinued and on 'firesale' clearance pricing a few weeks later. We ordered a pair originally through OnSale via Amazon - what a clusterfuck that was. Either way, thanks to a heads up from the SlickDeals community I rode my Kawi down to the local Best Buy (Sunnyvale, CA) and waited in line for a few hours and rode home with a new 32gb Touchpad. In a nutshell I think it was pretty painless and one of the best $150 I have ever spent, excluding Vegas adventures.
Anyways, my wife and I have a couple of laptops and had the first gen iPad. I have the TouchPad tethered to my CyanogenMod 7 loaded Evo and have a great experience, without a recurring monthly fee. I understand the TouchPad doesn't have the super robust app catalog as the iPad or other Android devices but I can use Google Docs, watch Hulu (thanks for a workaround), browse the web, check email, Facebook and other crap... which is basically all I did on our iPad anyways.
Sure it doesn't have the Adobe Touch apps and some other stuff but it's more than fine and brings well over $150 worth of value. In fact, there's a CyanogenMod port in the works (webOS dual boot at that w/ Booty) so you can load all your Android goodness. We have it currently overclocked and running stable at 1.5 gHz.
I would jump at the opportunity to buy another TouchPad, especially the upcoming 64gb white version. And one last though - I wouldn't think it ridiculous for HP to team up with Yahoo! on this product line.
